Dr. Joel Grimshaw is a dedicated and skilled physical therapist specializing in orthopedics, with an exceptional depth of expertise in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University, a Master's in Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University, and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Buffalo.

Dr. Grimshaw is certified by the American Institute of Balance (AIB) in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, highlighting his proficiency in treating balance disorders and post-concussion symptoms. His commitment to excellence in patient care is further evidenced by his completion of Level I, II, and III certifications in Fyzical Vestibular Rehabilitation, which equip him with advanced techniques to manage and rehabilitate vestibular disorders.

 

As co-owner of East Coast Audiology and Physical Therapy, Dr. Grimshaw is passionate about providing high-quality, personalized care to each patient. His approach combines the latest research-based techniques with a compassionate understanding of his patients' unique needs.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Grimshaw is an avid outdoorsman. He cherishes time spent with his family in nature, whether it's boating, participating in sports, or hiking. His love for the outdoors extends to shooting trap, hunting, and fishing, activities that keep him connected to the environment and provide relaxation away from his clinical practice.
