Rachel Friedman Selsley is a compassionate and experienced physical therapist dedicated to providing comprehensive care to her patients. With a focus on neurological disorders and women's health, Rachel offers personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique needs.

Rachel obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in New York, laying the foundation for her career in rehabilitation. Over the years, she has honed her skills in various healthcare settings, including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, subacute care, long-term memory care, and home care. Her diverse experience has provided her with a deep understanding of neurological conditions and women's health issues.

Specializing in women's pelvic health, Rachel offers specialized care for conditions such as incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related pain, postpartum problems, diastasis rectus, pelvic organ prolapse, and chronic constipation. Her holistic approach to treatment encompasses both physical therapy techniques and her expertise as a certified Kripalu-style yoga instructor. This unique combination allows her to address spinal issues and promote overall well-being in her patients.

Rachel is dedicated to ongoing learning and holds certifications in LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) and as a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). She believes in treating each patient holistically, viewing each issue and individual with a comprehensive perspective. Rachel's commitment to her patients extends beyond the clinic, as she actively engages with her community through book clubs, women's groups, and religious organizations.

 

Outside of her professional life, Rachel enjoys spending quality time with her husband, indulging in date nights filled with theatre outings and swing dancing. Her passion for yoga provides her with a sense of balance and connection, which she brings to her practice as she strives to empower her patients to achieve their goals and live their best lives.
